Ethiopia is focusing on agricultural diversity and productivity to achieve food self-sufficiency. The Agricultural Commercialization Cluster (ACC) has successfully increased maize productivity by 50% through a clustering approach, where farmers share land and resources to enhance productivity. This initiative, funded by the European Union and its member states, aims to double the income of nearly 5 million smallholder farmers in five years. Despite facing challenges like climate change and war, Ethiopia's young, energetic leadership and legitimate government, along with strong public support, are committed to economic growth and strengthening the agriculture sector.
