The Ministry of Production has authorized the Peruvian Sea Institute to conduct exploratory fishing for anchovy and white anchovy in the southern area of the Peruvian Sea, for a period of ten days. The purpose of this fishing is to update information on the spatial distribution of anchovy in the southern region, evaluate its size structure, and record the occurrence of other species. The fishing will be closely monitored and controlled by Imarpe, with the catches obtained being deducted from the Maximum Catch Limit per Vessel in the following fishing season.
