Expointer 2025: yerba mate is synonymous with hospitality

You have probably already noticed on some yerba mate packaging a quality seal from Emater/RS-Ascar. This is one of the various products that the institution certifies, ensuring its quality until it reaches the consumer. At this year's Expointer in Esteio, this work can be known up close. In the Emater/RS-Ascar Space, the extension agents are welcoming visitors with yerba mate and hot water available for them to prepare their chimarrão, and also providing technical information about the certification and the Geographical Indication (GI) of yerba mate from the Machadinho region, recognizing the originality and historical identity of that region.
