The farmers of the Lipetsk region have experienced a significant increase in agricultural exports, with a 41% growth compared to the previous year, totaling about $470 million for the first 11 months of 2020. The export volume reached approximately 1.4 million tons, with over 70 countries receiving these products. There has been a notable shift towards exporting value-added products, with a 87% increase in sunflower, rapeseed oil, and oilseed cakes exports, and a 54% increase in exports of sugar, tobacco, water, beer, beet pulp, and baby food. The regional administration anticipates that agricultural exports will grow more than five times over the next five years, from $91 million in 2015 to an expected $500 million by the end of 2020.
