South Korea: Exported 412 tons of livestock products from Jeju last year, Hong Kong accounts for 98%

According to Jeju Island on the 24th, 412 tons of livestock products produced in the province, including beef, pork, and pork products, were sold to Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Singapore last year. The total export value of livestock products is $865,000 (approximately KRW 1.11489 billion). Exports of livestock products in the province by year are increasing year by year, with 211.3 tons in 2020 and 372.2 tons in 2021. Last year, 402.7 tons of livestock products from the province, accounting for 97.7% of exports, were exported to Hong Kong. By item, 358 tons of pork by-products, 20.2 tons of pork meat, 18.4 tons of dairy products, 3.9 tons of beef, 1.3 tons of honey and royal jelly, and 0.9 tons of pork fat.
