(Agraria.pe) "Mexico is in an unbeatable position to be the (leading) supplier of strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries for North America," stated Miguel Ángel Curiel, president of Aneberries. "No one can compete with us as a country, due to the rapid arrival (of cargo) from Mexico, and no other country can do it as quickly," declared the businessman during the announcement of the 15th edition of the Aneberries International Congress, to be held on July 23 and 24 at Expo Guadalajara. The organization projects a 25% increase in strawberry sales to the United States by the end of 2025, despite the threat of pests, diseases, and trade barriers.
