Colombia's meat and livestock exports have seen a significant increase in the first five months of 2021, generating over 160 million dollars from the sale of beef and over 137,000 live specimens. The Chilean market has been the most beneficial, contributing around 12% of the total revenue. Other notable buyers include Hong Kong and Lebanon. Cattle exports to Egypt make up 46% of total sales. Overall, there has been a notable increase in exports and revenue compared to the same period in the previous year.
