Russia: Exports of buckwheat in the 2023/24 season may become a record

It is already 1.5 times more than last season. Exports of buckwheat and buckwheat (in terms of buckwheat) in the 2023/24 grain season may reach 350 thousand tons and break the record of the previous season (262 thousand tons), predicts the Institute of Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR). As ICAR analysts noted, in July-November 2023, Russia exported about 125 thousand tons of buckwheat and buckwheat, compared to 75 thousand tons for the same period in 2022. The largest importer of buckwheat is China, and buckwheat is Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other countries of the former USSR.
