Exports of Kazakh wheat bran to China have increased 25 times over 7 years

Kazakhstan is actively increasing exports to China of both grains (wheat and barley) and their processed products. As APK-Inform reports with reference to official statistics, in 2023 the export of Kazakh wheat bran to China amounted to 421.6 thousand tons (versus 254.58 thousand tons in 2022). At the same time, shipments of these products in December last year, despite problems with logistics in the direction of China, reached the highest monthly figure in the last 9 months (43.65 thousand tons). Interestingly, compared to 2019, the export of Kazakh wheat bran to China increased by 3.7 times. And if we look at the dynamics over the past 7 years, an increase of 25.4 times was recorded.
