FAS: markups on "first price" products in retail chains have decreased to 4.7%

In 2025, the markup of federal retail chains on "first price" products amounted to 4.7% against 17.5% in 2021, reported the press service of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS). "This became the result of the comprehensive work of the FAS of Russia with market participants. The agency regularly requests information for analysis of pricing, sends warnings about the inadmissibility of unjustified price increases during periods of high demand. The service also interacts with major chains on the issues of developing the practice of concluding bilateral long-term supply agreements and voluntary markup limits," the message reads.
