Feed corn slightly increased in price at an international auction in South Korea

During the week, the South Korean Major Feedmill Group (MFG) purchased 199,000 tons of feed corn at an international tender, according to estimates by European traders cited by international news agencies. Three batches were purchased with delivery in September at $235.99 per ton C&F plus an additional fee of $1.25 per ton for unloading at a reserve port. In comparison - at the last successful corn import tender in South Korea, held three weeks earlier, 65,000 tons were purchased for $234.46 per ton C&F plus $1.50 per ton for unloading at a reserve port, and at the tender in Iran, held less than two weeks ago, the delivery of 240,000 tons was negotiated, although the prices remain unclear.
