Fertilizer deliveries in Brazil grew by 2.7% in August, totaling 5.25 million tons, according to the National Association for Fertilizer Diffusion (ANDA). Despite the increase, the result represents the smallest monthly advance of the year, reflecting a more moderate pace in the purchases of the input. From January to August, deliveries totaled 30.55 million tons, a 9.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024. The performance remains positive, but indicates that the peak demand of the sector may have been concentrated in the first half of the year. Mato Grosso continues as the main consumer of fertilizers in the country, with 6.81 million tons — equivalent to 22.3% of the national total.
