Rio, 07/11/2025 - Wholesale prices for agricultural products fell by 0.68% in October, following a 1.89% increase in September, according to the General Price Index - Internal Availability (IGP-DI), reported by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV). Meanwhile, industrial products rose by 0.07% in October, after a 0.25% drop in September.
According to the Wholesale Price Index by Stages of Processing (IPA-EP), which allows for the visualization of price transmission along the production chain, finished goods increased by 0.25% in October, following a 0.22% rise in September.
Intermediate goods prices rose by 0.16% in October, after falling by 0.36% in September. Prices for raw materials dropped by 0.58% in October, following a 0.80% increase in September.
