For the first time in five years, soybean planting begins with moisture-laden profiles in the core area.

A week before the start of the planting of the 3.2 million hectares of first-crop soybeans planned in the core agricultural area, the outlook shows a 180-degree turn compared to recent years. After five campaigns marked by water deficit and survival strategies, today 95% of the area presents very good water reserves, and the mood among producers is renewed. This was indicated by a report prepared by the Rosario Stock Exchange (BCR). "We haven't seen profiles this loaded in years," summarize the technicians from Junín. The situation is, from any angle, atypical: abundant humidity, weekly rains, and decisions that are adjusted on the fly.
