The article explains that starting from June 19, 2024, until June 5, 2025, Ukrainian oats will be imported into the EU countries under a tariff quota, which has been in place since 2016 and is automated due to a revision of the autonomous trade measures (ATM) implemented on June 6, 2024. This quota is triggered when average annual imports reach a certain volume. Due to exports exceeding the set quota for 2024, MFN duties will be applied until the end of the year, after which the quota will be available again. Ukraine exports oats to various countries, including the EU, India, Iraq, and Vietnam, among others.
