The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Ryazan Region has reported that the oilseed harvest in 2023 has set a historical record, with a total of 501 thousand tons of oilseeds, including sunflower, soybeans, rapeseed, flax, mustard, and others. This surpasses the previous record set in 2022 and is twice the average for the past 10 years. Additionally, the region is expecting a large harvest of grain crops, such as wheat, barley, corn, peas, rye, oats, and others, estimated to be around 2.9 million tons. The sugar beet harvest has also been successful, exceeding the maximum of the past 10 years and significantly surpassing the average productivity.
