Chile is expected to export 80,000 tons of blueberries in the 2023/24 fruit season, marking an 8.5% decrease from the previous year, according to Andrés Armstrong, manager of the Chilean Blueberry Commission. This is due to poor weather conditions that have delayed the harvest. Despite this, the volume of blueberries shipped by air has seen a 200% increase year-on-year. The United States continues to be the primary market for Chilean blueberries, followed by Europe, Canada, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
