From January to September 2025, agricultural output value in Tajikistan increased by 8.1%.

During the reporting period, cotton production reached 247,500 tons, a significant increase of 1.4 times year-on-year; grape, apple, and apricot production were 251,700 tons (+28.2%), 192,900 tons (+29%), and 321,500 tons (+24.2%), respectively. In terms of livestock products, egg production exceeded 1 billion pieces (approximately 57,000 tons), with a growth of 15.9%; meat and feed crop production also increased by 10.6% and 8.9%, respectively. During the same period, the production of some agricultural products declined due to climate and planting structure adjustments. Affected by the reduction in mulberry tree area, cocoon production was 233.4 tons, down by 35.4%; due to some farmers switching to high-yield crops, onion production dropped to 588,300 tons (-26.9%).
