A study by the State Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (SEAPA) and other partners, conducted from December 2 to 13, 2024, revealed fluctuations in fruit prices at the Contagem warehouse in CeasaMinas. Prices varied due to climate, supply, demand, and competition, with some fruits experiencing increases and others decreases. The most significant increases were seen in Pérola pineapples, Prata bananas, green coconuts, Gala apples, and large watermelons, while Pera oranges, Tommy mangoes, and Formosa papayas became cheaper. Weather conditions, limited supply, and quality issues contributed to the price changes.
