Brazilian fresh fruit exports are booming in 2023, with foreign sales exceeding the target of US$1 billion before the end of the year. From January to November 2023, Brazil shipped almost 940.9 thousand tons of fresh fruit, generating revenue of US$1.08 billion, a 30.4% increase from the previous year. This exceptional performance is attributed to the favorable climate in the Northeast and climate problems faced by competing countries, reducing their production.
