Germany is an important EU supplier of rapeseed oil

At almost 1.3 million t, the Federal Republic exported a good 19% more rapeseed oil in 2022/23 than before last season. However, the volume of the 2020/21 marketing year was missed by 6%. By far the largest recipient of rapeseed oil from Germany was the Netherlands in 2022/23 with a good 710,400 t, although with the aim of global further export. In the previous season, exports to the Netherlands were almost 19% lower. Belgium takes second place with 110,800 t. The kingdom received around 28% more than in 2021/22. This is followed by Denmark, France and Norway as important destinations.
