Global coffee exports register a drop of almost 4%

Global coffee exports reached 11.35 million 60-kg bags in August, the 11th month of the 2024/25 crop year. The volume corresponds to a 3.73% reduction compared to the same month last year (11.79 million bags). The figures are part of the monthly report from the International Coffee Organization (ICO). Released this Friday (3), the report points out that in the accumulated 11 months of the commercial year, shipments totaled 127.92 million bags, a 0.2% increase over the same period of the 2023/24 cycle, when they totaled 127.68 million bags.
