Turkey: Global warming affected fish variety and size

With the fishing season starting on September 1, 2023, anchovies continue to be caught in fishermen's nets. Fishermen's nets cause a decrease in prices on the stalls due to the abundance of anchovies. While anchovy was first sold for 100 TL per kilo, currently the price of local anchovy is 40 TL.
