Grain and oilseeds from Kazakhstan will take a new route through the ports of Estonia.

Kazakhstan and Estonia have agreed to launch a new export route for Kazakh grain through Baltic ports. Under the pilot project, it is planned to send 180,000 tons of wheat, with Estonia providing free storage of the cargo for 90 days. The details of the deal were discussed during negotiations between the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and the President of Estonia, Alar Karis. "We are very interested in gaining access to your seaports and in trading with your country, as well as in maintaining constructive contacts in international organizations, primarily the United Nations, the UN Security Council, and others," noted Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
