In October, IHBIR, the trade union representing many Turkish agricultural sectors, achieved a 9.39% increase in exports compared to the same month the previous year, totaling $205 million. This includes a 10.94% increase in exports to Iraq and a dramatic 558.15% increase to Algeria. From January to October, IHBIR's total exports amounted to $1,859,512,000, showing a 17.71% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. The union saw significant growth in exports of vegetable oil, sugar and sugar products, and cocoa products, with vegetable oil exports alone increasing by 196.28% in October. IHBIR has also conducted 30 virtual delegation programs to facilitate business meetings with importers from various regions, aiming to reach Turkey's export targets.
