The article reports on the significant fluctuations in domestic grain prices in Poland, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Between January 3-9, 2022, the price of consumption wheat increased by 8% compared to the previous week, but decreased by 1% monthly and rose by 49% year-on-year. Consumption rye saw a 5% increase week-on-week and month-on-month, but a 93% rise year-on-year. Feed barley's purchase price rose by 6% weekly and monthly, and 65.5% yearly. Triticale cereal's price fell by 2% weekly but increased by 0.5% monthly and 64% yearly. Finally, the price of domestic maize decreased by 1% weekly, increased by 1% monthly, and surged by 32% yearly.
