The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia notes a growing market interest in stock exchange trading of agricultural products. Over the past five years, the range and volume of such trades have significantly expanded, according to the press service of the agency. "The leader in trading volume is grain (wheat, corn, barley) - since the start of trading on the stock exchange, 4.4 million tons of these products have been sold," the FAS reported. Also, relatively large volumes of stock exchange sales are characteristic of oilseeds (soybeans, rapeseed, sunflower) - 1.3 million tons and sugar - 1.2 million tons. In 2025, meat trading (poultry, pork, turkey) successfully started - 18.8 thousand tons of meat raw materials were sold. Currently, more than 70 types of agricultural products are being traded on the stock exchange at supply bases located in 45 regions.
