Greece has significantly increased funding for compensation to livestock farmers affected by veterinary measures. According to the Minister of Rural Development and Food, Kostas Tsiairis, compensation for culled animals has been significantly increased – from 150 to 250 euros for a purebred animal, with farmers on average receiving between 200 and 220 euros.
