Brazil is set to host a record number of broiler chicks in 2024, with an estimated 7.167 billion, marking a 4.27% increase from the previous year, according to consulting firm Safras & Mercado. This growth is attributed to the strong domestic consumption and expectations of high export numbers. For 2025, the figure is projected to reach 7.208 billion, showing a slight increase of 0.56% from 2024, driven by both rising domestic demand and continued strong export performance.
