Heavy rains have caused damage to standing crops in several states, including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Kerela, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Himachal Pradesh. The affected crops include paddy, pulses, oilseeds, spices, fruits, and vegetables.
