Bulgaria's autumn crops are experiencing varied conditions due to rainfall patterns, with some regions significantly affected by drought. Winter wheat and barley crops are at different growth stages, raising frost risks in areas still developing. However, northeastern Bulgaria, a key wheat region, fared better due to November rains. Despite some early flowering of rapeseed, drought has necessitated over-seeding. Slight increases in rapeseed, barley, and wheat areas are anticipated for the 2025/26 season to mitigate climate risks, with a total of 100,000 hectares sown so far.
