(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Yoon-gu = The Central Disaster Management Headquarters for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) announced on the 27th that HPAI has occurred at a broiler farm in Yeongam, Jeonnam province, which houses 33,000 birds. This is the 24th occurrence of HPAI at poultry farms during this winter season. The headquarters is implementing quarantine measures at the farm, including controlling access, culling, and epidemiological investigations. Additionally, a 24-hour standstill order has been issued for livestock facilities, livestock vehicles, and duck farms in Jeonnam province and those that are affiliated with the affected farm.
