Live hog prices have been adjusted down across Vietnam, with the lowest price recorded in Hanoi at 56,000 VND/kg. The central region and the Central Highlands saw prices drop by 1,000 to 3,000 VND/kg, while the South also adjusted its prices according to market trends. In contrast, Tay Ninh province is focusing on developing the high-tech livestock industry, seeking large-scale investment projects and providing ample food for livestock and poultry. A pig farm in the province is invested in cold barns and follows the VietGAP process, producing around 2,350 pigs per month and bringing in a profit of 600-700 million VND.
