The honey market in Ukraine is experiencing one of the most difficult periods in recent decades, which is affecting prices. This year, the sweet product is not affordable for everyone. Market expert, national consultant at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Hanna Burka, in a comment to "Focus," noted that there is currently a "perfect storm" in the industry. "The first and most painful reason remains the consequences of the war - the destruction of apiaries, the impossibility of beekeeping activities in the zone of active combat operations, and so on.
