Poland is one of the leading honey producers in the European Union, with a 9% share in EU production. The country's ranking is due to support programs for the beekeeping sector and an increase in the honeybee population. Despite challenges this season, the quality and diversity of Polish honey are highlighted. Over the past 15 years, the industry has received funding for training, equipment, and quality analysis, supporting an average of 40,000 beekeepers annually. Consumers' preference for natural, health-promoting products has led to the rise of bee products like propolis and beeswax. Producers are encouraged to label their honey as a 'Polish Product' to support the local beekeeping industry.
