Huge price drop on the Polish markets: this is how much beetroot costs now

In Poland, according to the forecast of the Central Statistical Office (GUS), the smallest beet harvest of the decade is expected (240 thousand tons), which is even 5% lower than last year's, also low harvest level. It's no wonder that at the beginning of October, a massive 30% price increase suddenly occurred in the wholesale markets, and the average price rose to historic heights during October-November.
