The Union of Grain Exporters and Producers in Russia predicts that the country's grain exports could reach between 35-45 million tons in 2025, with wheat making up the majority. The optimistic forecast assumes a gross grain harvest of 130 million tons in 2026, subject to the restoration of winter crops. A quota for wheat and meslin exports is set from February 15 to June 30, 2025, with a potential additional corn export quota from the Far East. Demand for Russian grain, particularly from the Middle East and North Africa, remains strong and the union is optimistic about export growth to Africa.
