Mexico's agricultural production is expected to hit a seven-year low in 2025, with corn production being the most affected, forecasted to decrease by 5.6% to 21.7 million tons, making Mexico reliant on imports. The grain and oilseeds segment is expected to see a 7% decrease in production. Vegetable production is also projected to decline, while livestock production is expected to remain stable. However, high market prices have so far prevented a decrease in food production.
