From January to July 2023, Ukraine saw a decrease in its exports of lamb and goat meat by 33.1% compared to the same period the previous year. In terms of value, the exports dropped by 44% to $292.8 thousand. The UAE was the largest buyer of Ukrainian lamb and goat meat, accounting for 97.3% of the total, followed by Turkey and the Marshall Islands. The decline in exports may be attributed to the falling prices of lamb in the global market in recent months.
