In the first eight months of 2024, Ukraine experienced a 3.7% decrease in live poultry imports compared to the same period in 2023, totaling 2.6 thousand tons. Despite the decrease in volume, the monetary value of these imports rose by 9.3% to $51.8 million. The main countries exporting live poultry to Ukraine during this period were Hungary, Germany, and Poland, accounting for 28.2%, 26.4%, and 22.8% of the imports, respectively.
