In Buldan, the apple harvest is bringing smiles.

Apple harvesting has begun in the high-altitude areas of Buldan district in Denizli. This year, the yield and quality of the apples have brought smiles to the faces of the producers. It was noted that approximately 1,514 tons of apples were produced in 2,103 decares in Buldan district, with an average yield of 720 kilograms per decare. The most commonly grown apple varieties in the region are Starking, Golden, and local varieties. In Denizli's Buldan district, pruning works that began in February-March were followed by irrigation and pesticide treatments, and apple harvesting has started. Noting that the rainfall and weather conditions this year were favorable for apple production, the producers have been picking apples in their orchards with their families and workers since early morning.
