According to him, due to the May cold snap, plants in the crops did not develop as needed. Corn vegetation was delayed by 2-3 weeks. This can be noticed even now, towards the end of the growing season. If last year the plants reached 3.5-4 meters and the ear was set at a height of about 1.6 meters, this year the corn did not even reach 3 meters.
