The latest report from the Information System of the Cereal Exchange of Entre Ríos (SIBER) presents a mixed outlook for the 2025/26 soybean campaign in the province. According to the report published this Friday, December 26, the projected area for soybean cultivation throughout the Entre Ríos territory is 1,150,000 hectares, with second-crop soybeans representing 65% of the estimated total, at about 750,000 ha, while first-crop soybeans reach 400,000 ha (35%), a phenomenon that confirms the growing importance of late plantings in the local agricultural cycle. The technical report indicates that first-crop soybeans have already been fully planted at the provincial level, and the planting progress of the second-crop soybeans stands at approximately 80 percent. If the total projected planting is considered, the progress is around 87%, equivalent to about 1,000,000 ha planted, with about 150,000 ha still to be planted in different regions of Entre Ríos.
