In January 2024, Ukraine's import of buttermilk and fermented milk and cream fell by 3.7% to 702 tons, despite a 7.1% increase in spending. The majority of these imports were sourced from Belgium, Poland, and Germany. On the other hand, Ukraine's exports of these products surged by 28.2% in volume and 39.3% in value, with Moldova, UAE, and Armenia being the main buyers. However, there was an 8.3% decrease in the volume of whey exports.
