In July, Norway's export value of salmon to China was 339 million Norwegian kroner, an 80% increase year-on-year, with an export volume of 9,950 tons, a 121% increase year-on-year, marking the highest value in nearly 15 years.
In July, Poland was the largest export destination for Norwegian salmon in the European region, with an export value increase of 291 million Norwegian kroner year-on-year.
Fresh salmon slices processed in Poland are mainly supplied to Germany, the Czech Republic, and Italy.
In July, Norway exported 9,409 tons of trout, valued at 697 million Norwegian kroner, a 20% and 11% increase year-on-year, with Lithuania, the United States, and Ukraine being the three major export markets.
Among these, the export volume to Lithuania was 1,448 tons, a 56% increase year-on-year, with an export value increase of 32 million Norwegian kroner, a 45% increase year-on-year.
