Processed product imports showed the most significant increase, reaching 846 tons, a year-on-year growth of 57%. Imports from China increased 2.4 times to 201 tons; imports from Vietnam grew 71% to 511 tons. Frozen Atlantic salmon imports followed, increasing 2.4 times to 90 tons. Fresh and frozen salmon and trout fillet imports were lower than the same period last year. Specifically, frozen salmon imports decreased 31% to 2,858 tons; fresh salmon imports declined 9% to 1,254 tons; frozen trout imports dropped 12% to 1,633 tons.
