Since November 2023, the Office of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance in Dagestan has monitored 14 batches of agricultural crop seeds, totaling 121 tons, intended for autumn sowing. The seeds included winter wheat and barley, imported from the Rostov Region, Stavropol, and Krasnodar Territories, and cherry, sweet cherry, and plum seedlings. All planting and seed material were accompanied by quarantine certificates and recorded in the FGIS Argus-Phyto information system. The office regularly checks the documents certifying the quality of the seed and planting material.
