Russia: In Primorye, the volume of fish exports to China increased by 15 percent

During January - February 2024, the Primorsky Territorial Administration of Rosrybolovstvo checked the legality of 551 batches of fish products obtained in the Far East and intended for export to China. For each batch, an INN certificate is issued, confirming the legality of the origin of the product. The total weight of fish products controlled and registered by officials of Rosrybolovstvo for export in January - February 2024 amounted to 93.5 thousand tons, including 66.1 thousand tons in February. Compared to the same period in 2023, when fishing companies exported 83.4 thousand tons, the volume of exports increased by 15%. The largest volume of processed and exported fish products was pollock - 71.3 thousand tons, herring - 13.3 thousand tons and crabs - 5.5 thousand tons.
