The production of meat and bone meal in Russia has increased by 87 percent over the past four years, reaching a record figure of 637,700 tons. The Central Federal District accounted for half of the total production, followed by the Volga region. Russian manufacturers have expanded their product portfolio to meet domestic demand, reducing import dependence by nine percent. The production capacity of meat and bone meal is growing due to the increasing number of farm animals and high demand for meat products, including pet food, both domestically and for export to Vietnam and Kazakhstan.
