Ukraine: In September, the export of dairy products reached a record $35.9 million

In September, revenue from the export of dairy products continued to show record values. In total, products worth $35.9 million were sold, which is 9.2% more than in August and 145% more than in the same period of 2021. This was reported by the analyst of the Association of Milk Producers Yana Linetska. High export prices and simplified procedures at the border support the sale of Ukrainian dairy products to foreign markets. The main export category remains dry milk - 4.9 thousand tons (+51% against the August figure) worth $15.8 million (+39.8%). Butter sales in September of this year decreased by 8.25% to 1.96 thousand tons, and in monetary terms by 5.7% to $11.3 million. In September, the export of whole milk and cream decreased by 25.7% - to 2.65 thousand tons, and in monetary terms - by 28.14% - to $1.37 million.
